I am impressed with the site, this is how it needs to be with all the technology and people interested in this department. I am currently in emt school and have been searching for departments that have programs that hire and then send their recruits to paramedic school. I have heard that you need to sign a long term contract. Do you know of any fire departments have these kinds of arrangements? Thanks for the information and keep America strong. Very impressive web site. I especially enjoyed the list of all the stations and list of the equipment, although I only checked #12 and #19. How about photos of the apparatus. Keep up the good work. I will return soon for a closer look. I am a retired Captain from Tampa Fire Rescue.

Hello, My name is David Brandt, I am 15 years old,

My dad was a firefighter for many years until a very serious accident last year, left him confined to a wheel chair.. He,s also a US Veteran who served in the Air Force 1st as a SP Then Changed to Firefighting..
He cant leave the house since his accident, the only thing that seems to cheer him up a little is talking about the fire service
So mom and me talked, Me and dad are starting to collect patches (Fire, Ems, Police, Sherrif, Hazmat ETC) from all over the world, and if you have a extra one, We would like to have it..
This is new for us, I,m doing this as a new hobby for my dad and me, mainly for him to keep his spirts up.
Thank you very much, and Hope Your Having A Happy New Year

Thank you for the opportunity to communicate the following message. I live on Misha Lane near Dade City. I am watching with interest the construction of a fire station on Centennial. I am wondering how in the world are you going to be able to get vehicles out onto the road during those four times a day, week days, during the school year when traffic is bumper to bumper and backed up even out onto 301. I am sure someone has anticipated this problem, but honestly, it seems to me that this is going to be quite a problem when that situation arises. I am also curious about the duration, decibels, and timing of alarm sounds when the vehicles emerge to respond to various emergencies. I am sure we are within earshot and am just curious as to what to expect. I would really appreciate a reply, although I know you all are busy. My email address is eglenn53@aol.com Sincerely, glenn hargrove 9833 Misha Lane Dade City, FL

I was surfing the net and visited your Department's Web site. We just wanted to let you know all of us are praying for you and we thank you for the work that you do. We also hope that what President Bush and our troops are doing now will help to keep you out of danger from the terrorist that threaten this great country we live in and the events of 09-11-01 will never happen again. Your job is dangerous enough without the intervention of idiots trying to destroy our country. Thank you for being there for us. Stay safe. I'm a Florida Cracker born in Clearwater and raised on Clearwater Beach until the Marine Corp took me away. I love your county. We really enjoyed our visit to your web site. Keep up the good work. :-)

The website looks great, very impressive job. Also the open house at station #26 was very well put together. My stepfather is a fireman for Hialeah FD and also an instructor at the Miami-Dade Fire Academy. I found the firefighters to be just as genuine and helpful as the men my dad works with. Thank you for making that such an enjoyable experience. Keep up the great work.
